About Me

My photo
I have been teaching at SPCC since 2004. I love interacting with students everyday and working with my peers. I also love playing and coaching basketball, playing baseball, and golfing. I love being spontaneous and riding the wave of life where it takes me. I am also very proud to have the best wife, duaghter, and a brand new edition on the way in September. My parents are a driving force in who I have become and throughout my life I have had the best friends around me who love me for who I am. God has guided me in many ways that have turned into miracles.

  3. Thanks so much Mr. Phillips. I am so honored to have had the experience of having you as a teacher! Your positive spirits and dedication to each and every student is so admirable. It's hard to believe my years of having you as a coach are over, and I can't wait to see where all of the things you have taught on the court takes me in life (it has already taken me far). As you could tell at graduation, I lost my voice.. and it STILL isn't back! Crazy right? I sound so weird. I haven't been myself since I left SPCC! I miss it so much :( I've never been so sad for it to be summer! Thank you SOOO much for EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING. From all of the homework help, Microsoft Word help, and dribbling help, THANK YOU. I will visit next year and let you know how high school is going :) (P.S. I am taking 3 honors courses! World History, English and Biology. Thanks for making class so much fun! I am ready to take on the challenge.) :) Bye!

So proud that you are in three honors courses and you will do great because you always work so hard. Let me know how things go and enjoy the summer. It was great to see such a wonderful person flourish over the past few years. Keep it up Jackie and now it's drews turn to go through SPCC. He said to me today Jackie and Adam will be here at spree day later and they are in high school now. Hahahaha so cute.

  8. Well, Doherty has been fun so far! It's a lot more work than SPCC and its' A LOT BIGGER. When I went to my Latin 2 class it was all seniors and juniors and I was thinking..."woah your wayyyyy taller than me. I'm not use to this." But other than that kind of stuff it has been fun. I have almost all my classes Devlin so at least I know someone! But my Health class really stinks because I have to sit in front of these kids who are always talking and fooling around. Come to find out when we were introducing ourselves, none of them like to do there homework; they just always fool around! Oh yeah...tell Mr. L that my World History teacher this year is just like him haha! He's funny and smart, but makes sure we get everything done to our potential! Also, he says that since we ended on WWII we are going to be really far ahead because that's what they end on this year! Math is really easy because we did everything thanks to Mr. C. Latin is difficult because it's not the same way we did Latin with Ms. Henrion. I'm taking Bio so I have noooo idea what to do. It's basically the opposite of everything we learned. English is easy...it's just basically reading stuff. And the last subject is Engineering class where you use a 3d computer program to make a bunch of cool designs which we are starting on. It's a Dragster that we will end up racing around the parking lot! Well talk to you soon!

  9. Well sounds like a good start Jared. You are prepared no matter what they throw at you. Sounds like you have a little bit everything on your plate. Are you playing any sports in the fall? Keep working hard and us know how it goes in the upcoming weeks!
