I have been teaching at SPCC since 2004. I love interacting with students everyday and working with my peers. I also love playing and coaching basketball, playing baseball, and golfing. I love being spontaneous and riding the wave of life where it takes me. I am also very proud to have the best wife, duaghter, and a brand new edition on the way in September. My parents are a driving force in who I have become and throughout my life I have had the best friends around me who love me for who I am. God has guided me in many ways that have turned into miracles.

May 23rd - Day 10 Habit Project

  1. Today has been good, better than the last few. I've been stressed out more than ever today. Suprisingly I havn't been eating junk today. I ate a pizza at work and I'm very satisfied. I don't plan on eating poorly tonight! See ya tomorrow!

  2. Having an awsome day. Got home and did my homework. I'm looking forward to our class trip. It's going to be great. Also I'm having steak tonight. I love steak. Hope everyone else is in a good mood. I'm following though with my goal and I really enjoy this project. See you all at school.

  3. Today was a pretty stressful day. I had a math test, which was pretty confusing. this stressed me out. The science test was really easy though. I usually do my homework in afterschool, but today I was picked up early for a surprise doctors appointment. So, I had to do my homework at home. This threw off my schedule a bit. Overall Im felling pretty good, besides the stress, and Im excited about this project. See everyone tomorrow.

  4. Today went well for my project. I, however, didnt get a chance to test out my new idea of using a snooze button. This was becaus i was at my dads this morning. He wakes me up there. My entire day was pretty much strees free and it seemed very easy and normal when i woke up today. Tommorow i am definately going to try the snooze button method. Less than a week left in the project, and I am feeling confident. I still feel like I can continue not to sleep in even after the project is over. Good luck everyone, and I will see you tommorow!

  5. Hey everyone!(: So today was gym, so I just threw my hair back and put sports wrap in. Dr. Dodge was fun though. During recess Jackie did a fish tail braid in my hair, thanks Jackie!(: When I got home I had a snack, and then I got ready for my basketball practice. Oh my gosh guys! This was the most intense practice I've ever had! It was like a work out session! We did sit ups, push ups, wall sits, planks, wall taps, foot fires, charges (OOUCH!), ski jumps, back and forths, ski jumps and back and forths on one foot, and we ran so much. I am not a big fan of working out. I know that I need to do it, but I dread it! Oh my gosh, guess what! I live near Webster Square, and in Webster Square they are putting a Plant Fitness! I was talking to my mom, and I asked if I could get a membership, and she said "We'll see".. hopefully I can! I could run there then work out. It's perfect. Anyway, after my practice, I went to my brother's tee ball game. After that I went with my mom to get dinner. After we ate, I started my blog. I haven't done any other homework and it's almost 8. I really need to start so I'm not doing it until 10! Have a great night everyone!<3

  6. Today was an awesome day for the project. Today when I got home I played wiffle ball with my cousin then I had to go to my lacrosse game in auburn. As I have said before a lacrosse game is the best workout in my opinion. We won the game and I had 4 assists. The only thing that was a bad decision for me today was when I got Mcdonalds after my lacrosse game but I had to because it was my dinner and it was too late to cook something. Overall today was a success kind of. See you tomorrow everyone!

  7. Today was better than every day so far. I did my homework literally right when I got home instead of like 20 minutes after I get home. I think this was mainly because it was such a nice day out that I wanted to go have fun with my friends. Then I went to some pitching place that I don't know the name of and I clocked my pitches. My fastest was a 71 MPH fastball and my slowest was a 56 MPH Knuckle. However after I threw the really fast one my arm hurt. So, I just stick to throwing in the mid 60s. So clearly doing my homework early has give me time to do stuff that I never had before. Alright see everyone tomorrow!!!

  8. Today was a great day! As Madison said, INTENSE PRACTICE! SUPER intense! I, for one, LOVE working out. I work out with determination, and here's a tip to stay motivated: think about a person that plays on a team that you play against, maybe a "rival". Now picture them working out harder, and running faster than you. Push yourself harder than you think that person is pushing themselves! Always have the mindset that your "rival" is working out harder than you are, and I promise, it gives you an adrenaline rush! It totally works for me, so try it out next time you work out(: Anyway, I had so much fun! I don't think I have ever sweat so much in a practice. Today I felt myself getting stronger, and could feel the progress. I am doing way better with my confidence, but still need ways to bring it up! Any tips? Night guys! Sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite! (; <3

    1. Confidence can be a very difficult issue. The way I deal with my confidence issues is once a year during the football season now I know it's unlikely you will play football. But during a game in whatever sport try to think of a really motivational song and just think "i can do this" while singing the song. Some of the ones I think of a lot is Crazy train, Eye of the tiger, and Lose yourself. So try to find some songs that you like and try it out.

  9. Today was good got home ate a bowl of ramen and imediately went looking for my cat who got out this morning. After a bout an hour of searching with the the family i gave up thinking my cat would come back later. So i went inside read a book for awhile and took a short nap. when i woke up i was bored because im grounded, so i decided on climbing trees. So me and my sis went outside and climbed tree's for awhile and i made it 15ft up feeling acomplished i had my sis get my grandma and my other sis. When they came out we all herd a meow and when we looked under the deck there was my cat XD. good old little cloud :)....(the name of my cat).

  10. Today was okay I guess. I came home, had a kiwi, and went for my daily run, but there was nothing special bout it. I didn't beat my time or anything... Also, I played my video game for the remainder of the day... which was a while... I want to think of even more activities to do...

  11. Today I worked up a good sweat today during gym. When I got home, i went out and skated with my friends. I did a lot of excersising today. After I had Chicken curry and rice. I took a nice, cold, and refreshing shower, and felt great after! See you all tomorrow.

  12. Today was awesome, sadly upstairs bubbler broke right after gym. Today I hung out with my friends till about five and then ran home. It was really hot! Once I got home, I put my clothes in the wash, sat down and watched tv till six ten. Then I ate dinner. At six thirty I left to St. John's to a meating about the upcoming football season. I got home around eight forty, got in the shower and now am doing the blog(siter was on facebook for a while before I went on). Now I have to go and celebrate my sister's birthday.

  13. Today was a great day. I spent my time very well. I did my homework right away. It took longer than I thought it would and it messed up my schedule a little bit, but it all ened up good. After that I went to my friend's house and we played basketball for about two hours. Now we are watching the Celtics, so all in all a good day. Can't wait to see the Celtics close out the series.

  14. Today was not one my best days. When I got home to school, I did my homework a little and after a half an hour I would watch tv and after another hour I would finish my homework. It got me a little bit more stressful though. Anyway today I learned that you should do your homework right away and don't get distracted.

  15. Today was a good day. I spent a lot of time playing with my dogs. I didn't argue that much besides a little confrontation with my mom and dad. I spent a lot of time on my homework which wasn't the highlight of my day, but I didn't get aggravated I just kept working hard. I hope the week keeps going good.

  17. Day 10,
    Today i wasted a little bit of time when i got home from baseball, but other then that, so far, I've done good today. I am also happy because the Kings, yes, my 8th seeded Kings won, and are now in the Stanley Cup finals. I've been called a banwagoner, because of this, but I don't let those people get to me. Today, so far, hasn't been what i wanted workout wise, so I'll do push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, and pull-ups. I hope everyone is achieving their goals, I know tomorrow will be different, because i have hockey, and dry-land exercises after that. See you all tomorrow.

  18. Today I had softball it was very hard, and painful because we were sliding and all i had on were shorts and a sliding pad on my nee. I have so many cut up and down my leg. I will had to be very careful with that. Besides that my sister wanted to go out for a walk at night, I felt bad for her I just went with her. Went all the way from our house to down town and back. I was huffing and puffing by that time. So I think I might have to a few more exercises to do. They day was good in as far as exercising goes.

  21. Day 10 was ok. When I got home, I did my homework right away. The homework took much longer than I thought it would. I didn’t get much time to work out and read my book.
