About Me

My photo
I have been teaching at SPCC since 2004. I love interacting with students everyday and working with my peers. I also love playing and coaching basketball, playing baseball, and golfing. I love being spontaneous and riding the wave of life where it takes me. I am also very proud to have the best wife, duaghter, and a brand new edition on the way in September. My parents are a driving force in who I have become and throughout my life I have had the best friends around me who love me for who I am. God has guided me in many ways that have turned into miracles.

May 24th - Day 11 Habit Project

  1. The past two weeks for me has been hard. My body has hurt, my workout regimen has suffered and my motivation to work out has been distant. This is where God gives you angels and mine is in the form of a close friend who always seems to get me back motivated. He did nothing miraculous except invite me over to work out and watch the Celtics. Today I felt better than I have in a long time and I cant wait to go home and work out. I love working out in the heat because the sweat pours off you and you know your doing something. Also not having a car for the past month has been both positive and negative. Positive is I stay at school longer and get work done like correcting and grades and golf tournament stuff. Negative is I do not get home until later and I am more tired, less ambitious to jump into a hard workout.
As for all of you keep working. I want to comment on Jackie and some of the really nice comments she has displayed throughout this project. They made me smile and I hope they made you too. Jared as well has had some comments that he went out of his way to make. Everyone else as well support each other. My friend lifted me up by simply working out with me. It was not a huge miracle just a simple act of kindness that made all the difference. Good luck!

  2. Today was great! Felt confident, and didn't have a reason of getting down on myself. My confidence didn't seem to improve, but I know change is occurring. I love the fact that this project is about change, and that we all have the opportunity to help each other out. We have to end this year strong, so let's end it with some great results! Keep pushing everyone! See you tomorrow!

  3. Had a good day today. I personally didn't think we had a lot of homework. I got it done pretty fast too. I'm following my schedule and have been doing my homework right away. I think that this schedule and goal project has help me get in the routine of doing homework sooner. I also found it ironic how I got comments for eating steak last night. I'm having pork tonight and it's looking pretty tasty. Hope everyone is enjoying this project as much as I am and have a good day. See everyone tommorow.

  4. Well I have had a pretty good day. I found my phone yesterday so most of the stress was off my back. Therefore, I had no intentions of eating poorly and I am about to have steak tips for dinner!:D I'm feeling great about myself tonight! I hope this continues because I love being on top. See you all tomorrow for Mass!

  5. Today went pretty well. I did my homework right away however I had to go with my brother to his friend's house so I can take pictures for the for Prom. I swear I took like 100 pictures. I felt like my finger was about to fall of. Well after that, I just got home and came on here. Activities today have been pretty time consuming and now I have baseball practice in Connecticut (although I don't know why). The practice is going to be under the lights which will be kinda cool. Well i got to go, I'll see everyone tomorrow! Bye!

  6. What a great day.I had a good day at school. Came home, went to the gym for an hour and just finished my homework. Today at the gym I talked to a trainer about lifting. We talked about how I wanted to make myself stronger. He did a couple of workouts with me and they were so tiring, but it was a lot of fun. I worked on my chest and abs. See you all tomorrow.

  8. Today was good. Nothing really out of the usual. I woke up and did my make- up and my hair. That took about 20 minutes. I also had an orthodontist appointment. It was an hour and fifteen minute appointment. I got x-rays. Then I filled out this questionnaire about myself. Then I got molds of my mouth. I got peach on the bottom, and strawberry on the top. I also did a wax imprint. It was sort of like fitting a mouth guard. I also had pictures taken on me with a serious face, smile, and the side of my face. And she took pictures of inside of my mouth. It was pretty fun. School was, well school. I finished homework just a little bit ago. I had a chicken dinner.. it was some sort of weird thing my mom made. It was pretty good! So now I'm doing Latin and then bed. G'Night everyone!<3

  9. Today I got off and hung with my friends till about four fifteen, then took my usual route home. When I got home I took a quick shower and got ready to go out for dinner. Then I watched Common Law till about five thirty and headed out for dinner. We went to Oconner's for dinner and left at about seven twenty. Then we drove around Worcester for a little and went home. When I got home I went upstairs and did my homework. Then I watched some cooking shows for a little bit and then started my blog, as you can now see. Overall it was a good day!

  10. Today went pretty well. I got to school early. I was feeling good all day because I was looking forward to hot dog day. I got home at about six, ate dinner, then left for my lacrosse game at seven. It was an odd game because it was dark out. Lacrosse helps me to cope with the stresses of school. I think I have officially beat my habit! Tonight Im going to study for a MATH TEST!! I never studied for math! Im feeling great and really confident about being done with my habit! See everyone tomorrow.

  11. Today went well. This morning was a huge success for my habit project. I planned on using the snooze buttun to help me wakeup on time. I tried it out this morning and it worked! I set my alarm ten minutes before i usually get up. When it went off i hit the snooze button and it felt like I slept in for another 10 minutes. This was great because I woke up at the time i wanted to, but I wasnt feeling groggy. I feel that this strategy is very helpful for me. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Will it still help me in the long run? I had a great day and I hope you did too! I'm feeling confident! See you guys tommorow!

    1. It can and it can't because after a while it becomes a mental issue like if your alarm goes off a second time and you dont feel groggy but you just dont want to get up then in the long run you probably wont get up

  12. Today went awesome. I came home and had to go to my baseball game and I consider this a workout because you run a lot in baseball. When I got home I did my homework and ate a good dinner and after dinner instead of ice cream I ate cantaloupe. Today was good day because I haven't been eating any junk food when I get home from school. Today was a success and see you all Tomorrow.

  13. TODAY in my mind was great. I did my daily routine of running and eating healthy. However, there was a little twist to the day! I helped my dad to yard work! In this way, the day was great because I got to be outside for the majority of the day, and I also got to learn how to work different things! WE did yard work for my grandmother. I loved the outdoors today! Well, all is good! I'll see all of you guys tomorrow!!!! ;)

  15. Today was a very easy day. I got home and did my homework. After that I went outside and played basketball with my sister for about a half an hour. Then I had a baseball game. Our team had a few injured players tonight, but we still got it done and got the win. The game took up most of my day and made it pretty easy to stay busy. I notice now that most of the extra time I had before was during the off season and I had a lot of time to spend using electronics. Now that i have stuff to do I don't need electronics as much.

  16. Day 11,
This has been a very easy day, like Tim. Today was busy after school. Today I has a hockey practice. This took up 3 hours. (from 6-9) On ice or 50 minutes, a 20 minute break, then we did off-ice training until 9. Today was stressful after school, because I had hockey, and a decent amount of homework. (For me.) I didn't waste anytime, because I was so busy, so I didn't have to worry about doing nothing. I'm very tired :/. I will see you guys tomorrow! GO KINGS ;)

  17. Today I needed a break from the huge run that I did Wednesday. Instead I looked up some arm, core, and back exercises. I found at least 3 good one for each. I did them all and they didn't hurt or stress my legs. Today i think was overall acceptable.

  18. my blogs haven't been posting, so if they have I'm just going to repost them all. Today wasn't the best day. i argued a lot with my brother and my dad. I didn't really do many productive things with my time today though, other than play basketball for a little wile. This could of been the cause of me arguing more. I hope tomorrow is better

When I got home I did my homework which didn’t take long. I had more time to work out and read my book. After I worked out, I took a shower and finished my book. Im am so proud of myself because this the first time I have actually started a book and finished it. (except summer reading).
